There was a litter of 9 at the Westchester Human Society. The runt, now Dakota, picked me!
Today, six years later, we are nationally registered with Pet Partners as an Animal Assisted Therapy Team.
Locally, we volunteer with various facilities and words cannot express how the interactions with the people and children we visit, touches my heart.
Helping charity organizations expand their donor base and ways of giving to make an even bigger impact, touches my heart as well!
Thank you equine therapy riding facilities, where my passion for animal therapies began, well over a decade ago!

After college, I spent the next 2+ decades traveling throughout the country exercising thoroughbred race horses at premier race tracks. I was completely entrenched and swept up into the upper echelon of the sport of kings!
As an independent licensed investment expert, I was able to exercise race horses in the early mornings and work with the human athletes and investments in the afternoon.
Retiring from the race horses in 2015, I am now guiding the equine industry to embrace their next step!

By capitalizing on my passion, global connections and expertise to empower you to make strategic introductions to and enhance your success Make the right communication connections for YOUR financial future!
Why do I do this?
This is my story.
Surrounded by forward thinkers throughout my life, I have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and have been a competitive “go getter” all my life. I started riding horses at the age of 6 and competed at the top venues of the show jumping arena for well over a decade. I have successfully owned and operated 3 separate companies: K & C Plowing as a teen, Pendleton Farm in my 20's and KMH Unlimited. As a teen, I owned and operated my own snow plowing business. I graduated high school in 3 years and, from there, left home to become the assistant director of a children’s center at a world class ski resort. Realizing I needed that piece of paper to further any career, I returned home to earn an honors degree in Marketing with a minor in Finance in only 3 years from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
In 1991 my mother passed away unexpectedly. I was devastated. Within 3 years I, literally, ran away from home. I sold my business, left my marriage and Illinois to spend the next 2+ decades traveling throughout the country exercising thoroughbred race horses. I was swept up into the upper echelon of the sport of kings!
*As the first person in my peer group to lose a parent, I have spent the subsequent 30 years as the 'go to expert' helping friends, family, colleagues and clients navigate the waters of loss, distribution of assets, taking care of 4 legged family members and 2 legged family communication.
In 1999 I joined forces with Oakbrook Investment Brokers Inc and obtained my securities licenses 7, 63, 65 and 35. My passion for clients and investments flourished! Focusing on raw materials, I became an integral part in breaking escrow and growing what soon became the number one performing index fund in any asset class in the world; the Rogers Raw Materials Funds. As an independent licensed investment expert, I continued traveling to exercise race horses in the early mornings and work with investments in the afternoon.
*There were 5 of us to do an SEC regulated launch. I became the commodities expert in internal and external communication, marketing and PR. I coordinated communication efforts for internal and external silos with brokerage firms, administrators, custodians and compliance. I built solid, ongoing relationships from all walks of life and loved it!
2001 brought down the twin towers and changed the face of the financial world forever. I brought my investment expertise to the big firms that sustained extensive human loss and heartache. I moved to upstate NY to join forces with Morgan Stanley. After helping the Albany, NY office transition and gain traction, I went back to more independent affiliations. Listening to client requests to go back to my roots, I became dual registered with Euro Pacific Capital and Oakbrook Investment Brokers. I was now part of the global stage and, literally, a whole world of investment opportunities was at my fingertips.
In 2007 I was recruited by a Canadian firm to launch another raw materials index fund in the US that was to be headquartered just outside of Chicago. I was going home! The second raw materials fund never did launch but I had the opportunity to work closely with my father, every day. Time we would not have had as he lost his battle with cancer in 2011.
For the next 7 years I was back on the east coast; horses in the mornings, investments in the afternoon.
I am now back in upstate NY! For decades I have watched entrepreneurs, the investment landscape, the 501c3 arena and individual behaviors evolve to embrace the growing need for innovative thinkers and real time communication specialists. My mission is to make individuals, entities and families to successfully and comfortably navigate the communication landscape by listening and tailoring communication strategies and narratives to keep it simple, keep it real, for YOU.
